Ever wanted to view classic films, but only been able to watch the latest flicks at your local cinema? Well now’s your chance! The Prince Charles Cinema in London, located just by Leicester Square, gives you the chance to view classic films as they were intended to be shown. There are a variety of films shown every night, which these days you may even struggle to find on video or DVD.
The cinema was opened back in 1991 and it’s the only one of its kind in the UK. It’s a subsidised repertory cinema and offers a really cheap ticket pricing policy. Your film ticket will be anywhere between £2 and £10.
The cinema even recently underwent a renovation, and it now has an extra screen upstairs. The cinema still shows classic films downstairs, but also shows modern films on their new screen.
