If you want to experience French cinema when you’re in Paris, then the best place to do so is Le Champo. Located in the Latin Quarter, it’s here that you will be able to watch a number of classic films, and not modern releases. As well as classic films, however, you can also view retrospective films on some of the most influential people in the industry, from actors to directors. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon or an evening, particularly if you’re interested in old films and French cinema. Probably not a place to take young children, though.
Three times every month, Le Champo also hosts Nuits de Champo, which includes showing movies all night long, starting at midnight. They will serve you breakfast at the end of the films, too. For 15 Euros, this is a great experience, and it lasts six hours! Make sure you pay a visit if you’re interested in the city’s history.
