The Trevi Fountain is probably the most famous fountain the world, and has been featured in many films and television shows. Over the years, the fountain has been in a number of different locations, but it can currently be found in a three-tired structure that is just below pavement level.
There are some incredible status surrounding the fountain, including the Roman god Neptun holding his septor and riding his chariot. Visitors from all over the world come to the fountain to make a wish and to experience Roman culture. Legend has it that by throwing a coin into the fountain, then you will be destined to once again return to the city.
Right behind the fountain, too, is the Palazzo Poli, which is another amazing place to visit. The whole experience will remain in your memory for years to come, and you’ll no doubt eagerly await your next visit.
