Taxi! Taxi! Get a real experience with a London cabbie

Posted on 15th March 2012 by

If you need to get to somewhere in London quickly, and it isn’t very far away, then a taxi is your best bet. Taxis are available all over the city and are really easy to find. Simply call a taxi from the side of the road and they’ll park up and pick you up.

They’re easy to spot, as they are the traditional black cab shape – though you should not that not all of the cabs are black these days. You’ll find cabs in an array of colours, some of them appearing covered in Union Jacks and others covered in sponsorships.

Either way, they’re really easy to find in London. Do remember, however, that if you’re travelling a long distance in rush hour, then your taxi will cost an awful lot of money. They are only worth it if you are in a huge rush and you are not travelling far.
