Take care of all your shopping at Via Cola di Rienzo

Posted on 18th March 2012 by

You will find Via Cola di Rienzo slightly north of the Vatican in the Prati area of Rome. This is a hugely popular shopping area because of the huge diversity that it offers, and can become crowded at the weekend. It doesn’t matter what you are looking – from clothing and accessories to speciality foods and things for the home.

One of Rome’s biggest department stores, Coin, can be found on Via Cola di Rienzo, and you can also wander round the street market selling fresh fruits and vegetables if you arrive in the early morning. This is a great experience because not only can you get some great deals but you can also soak up the atmosphere of a Roman market.

If you enjoy browsing and shopping you make an entire day out of Via Cola di Rienzo, stopping for breaks at any of the delightful cafes, bars and restaurants that abound here.
