
With more than 8 million books in its massive collection, the National Library of Ireland is truly an incredible place to visit when you’re in Dublin. The library is home to the largest collection of Irish documents in the whole world, branching from music and periodicals, to maps, genealogical books and manuscripts. It’s a truly inspirational and magnificent place to visit, and any trip to Dublin is simply incomplete without paying even a quick visit.
You’ll be able to explore the legacy of Ireland’s greatest poet, Butler Yeats. Take a look at the incredible books that the National Library has in its collection, and look at some of the incredible exhibitions that the venue offers all year long. Rare books, photographs and poems from this incredible poet, as well as other famous Irish individuals are on show, which attract thousands of visitors each year. The tours of the library are free and take place on Wednesdays at 1pm, and Saturdays at 11am and 3pm. Don’t miss out!
