Selfridges: London's number one department store

Ask anyone about department stores in London, and Selfridges is always going to up there at the top of any list. Its six floors of designer fashion are located on the iconic Oxford Street, and have been given the accolade of being the ‘Best Department Store in the World’.

This store, which is over 100 years old, is famous throughout the world for both the design of its building to the quality of its clothing. Its windows are both famous and infamous for their displays, which can be controversial and thought provoking, and its food hall is well known for its global and delicious choices.

Selfridges is also the place to go for special occasions, such as book signings and exhibitions of art, as well as performances from an eclectic range of performers. In fact, this London mainstay is a must-visit store with a wide range of exciting fashion and style.
