Found right in the bastelle district on the cobbled streets of Rue de Lappe, Le Balajo is an incredible place to spend your night. The club was opened just before World War II, and was the best place to go for young blokes in the military. They would take t heir female friends during that era and dance the night away with their loved ones. Today, the club remains popular and many people from all around come to dance and have fun.
There is a wide mix of music in le Belajo. On the weeknights, you’ll expect vintage music. The waltz, tango and the cha cha are popular, which is great for some of the older visitors who want to revisit their past. The weekends, however, the place becomes so much more modern, and you’ll heard rock, funk, club and disco music blasting from their huge speakers.
