Hiring a car in Paris

Posted on 16th March 2012 by

If you’re considering hiring a car in Paris whilst you’re travelling, then there are some things you should know. One of the primary reasons for a renting a car during your trip is so that you can leave to get to your destination whenever you want, which is of course really convenient. Furthermore, having your own car will allow you to explore larger parts of France without having to get endless amounts of trains and buses.

Generally, however, the public transport in France is fantastic. It’s really easy to get around, even if you’ve never been to France before. If you feel, however, that you do not wish to try and work the public transport system, then it’s easy to get a car. There are car rental places at the airport and scattered across the city, and they don’t really cost all that much. You will usually pay between €80 and €250. You should be aware that the traffic is usually very bad, however!
