Posted on 28th February 2012 by

The funky atmosphere and locally owned trendy shops situated in the Lower Eastside will give your New York shopping experience a jolt of creative discovery and great buys.

The Orchard Street Shopping District is the place to be on the Lower Eastside. With places ranging from Tibetan artistry shops to Rustic boutiques, to locally made furniture that is both retro and modern, you can find many surprises here.

This area is usually most bustling during the weekdays, as most shops are closed on Friday afternoons and Saturdays, so come during the week and see the magnificent buys in the area.

The residents in the area are a mixture of artists and hip trend setters in their late 20s and early 30s, which adds a bit of character on top of all the other great attributes here.

New York shopping is real laid back on the Lower Eastside. You'll have a great day and find great deals on shoes, fabrics, leather items, and a whole host of other bargains.
