Posted on 18th March 2012 by

If you’re a fan of architecture and culture, then the Galata Tower is somewhere you simply need to visit during your trip to Istanbul. This incredible structure is just one of the many points of interest on the Istanbul skyline, and is a bastion for the walls of the 14 th century colony. The tower, when you climb up it, offers an incredible 360 degree view of the old town of Istanbul. Your climb up the tower will be interesting, too, as you’ll be able to experience the architecture of this centuries-old building first hand. Today, the tower is a sought-after venue for conferences, amazingly, and it even offers some incredible dining opportunities.

With belly dancing and its own nightclub, the Galata Tower is the perfect place for all kinds of visitors. Whether you’re on a business trip, honeymooning or just on a vacation, this is the perfect place to experience traditional Istanbul culture. Have fun!
