Discover your quirky side at the Piazza Navona

The Piazza Navona has been described as the most charming part of Rome, and it is certainly one of the oldest squares in the world. It is here that many people come to looking for antiques, art, or anything quirky.

You will find it located near to the Pantheon and other great tourist attractions, and there are a plethora of bookshops, art galleries, antique shops, vintage shops and fashion boutiques – so this is the place to do some seriously grown-up shopping. You will also find large numbers of artists here, all with their easels set up and painting while you watch. There’s a relaxing feel to the area so if you have been feeling a little exhausted by the bustle of city life, this is the perfect place to visit and to unwind.

If you fancy a break, take advantage of the many cafes and restaurants that are situated around the Piazza where you can sit outside and enjoy some lunch and do some people watching at the same time – perfect.
