If you want to spend some of your city break shopping then it helps to know where to go. The main shopping area in Prague starts in Wenceslas Square, along Na Prikope to Republic Square. If you are looking for some luxury boutiques, then head towards Parizska Street, but if you are looking for art galleries and smaller shops have a look at the Old Town Square and the Mala Strana.
Parizska Street is home to many expensive and fashionable stores, such as Cartier and other luxury brands, as well as some restaurants for some fine dining when the shopping becomes just too exhausting.
If these places are too rich for your blood, you will find lots of other stores that you will be familiar with in Wenceslas Square, such as Marks & Spencer and Debenhams, but for more individual shops that sell anything from crystals to art, the Old Town Square is the place to be. As well as these wonderful shops, it is also home to the permanent market.
