Try skating in Paris!

Perhaps one of the lesser-known ways of getting around is Paris is through the renting of in-line skates. The city has become famous for its smooth surfaces that make skating really easy. The roads and pavements are absolutely perfect for skating, and if that’s your sort of thing then you’ll have a great deal of fun skating around this cultural and historic hotspot.

There are many different companies that allow you to borrow skates, and to even go on skating tours around the city. Currently, there are more than 150 different routes around the city that skate past some of the famous monuments across Paris. It’s a relaxing, healthy and really enjoyable way to get around, so make sure you consider it!

Skating on the pavement is legal in France, so you don’t have to worry about getting in trouble with the police when travelling around the city.
