Trendy and affordable: Saint-Germain

Posted on 15th March 2012 by

Trendy and affordable are not usually words that you find in the same sentence when it comes to shopping in Paris, but you will be pleasantly surprised when you visit the Saint-Germain area of the city. Situated in the centre of the 6th Arrondissement and stretching along the banks of the River Seine, you will discover a plethora of boutiques selling shoes and clothes.

Saint-Germain has long been an area to which the artists and philosophers have flocked to enjoy the theatre, art galleries and the music, so you will have more to entertain you than just the shopping. In fact, the setting makes it perfect for just strolling and enjoying the ambience.

And when you fancy a break, there are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants for you to relax in and to soak up more of the uniquely French atmosphere.
