Once inhabited by all of the Ottoman sultans, the Topkspi combines both practicality and splendour to create something that is simply unique in its magnificence. Situated on over 700m² of land, the palace is surrounded by 1400 metres of fortified walls, broken up with a series of gates, including the infamous Imperial Gate, as well as both the Otluk and Demir openings.
