The Louvre: The ultimate Paris attraction

Posted on 16th March 2012 by

The Musee du Louvre is one of the most famous museums in the whole world. It’s also one of the biggest attractions in Paris, and you simply cannot visit the city without seeing the incredible glass pyramid and the museum.

The museum is home to the most incredible collection of art that stretches back way before the 20th century, and you’ll be overwhelmed by the history and culture you’ll experience in the building.

Just outside the building are the Tuileries gardens, which you will be able to enjoy before and after your museum visit. These gardens make up the largest and oldest park in the whole work, and it’s an attraction in its own right. So when you’ve finished exploring the museum, make sure you spend some time in the park. It is here that the glass pyramid can be found just at the entrance of the museum. The pyramid has been seen in many films and television shows over the last few decades.
