Everyone knows that shopping is a must-do when on a city holiday; the only real question is where to go. Well if you’re looking for magnificent products in a luxurious setting, then head down to Knightsbridge, the most popular place to visit amongst the rich and famous of London.

Take a look in Harrods, the department store that is known all over the world for its quality merchandise and welcoming staff. Open since 1849, it is 7 floors high, and takes up an entire city block on its own. Shoppers are required to meet the dress code here, and as you wander around over 300 stores looking for the perfect gift, you’ll soon discover why; everything here has a beautiful feel to it, making for a memorable shopping experience.

If Harrods isn’t what you’re looking for, then wander further along the street, where you will find the Harvey Nicholas department store, as well as Sloan street, which boasts a range of designer outlets, including Chanel, Gucci and Armani.
