Wall Street and the financial district are the heart of the financial world in the United States. Your trip to New York will take a powerful and exciting turn with a visit to the district.
The New York Stock Exchange is perhaps the most iconic destination on Wall Street and while the inside is no longer open to the public, you can still catch daily walking tours of the entire financial district as a whole. Some of the most important stops to make are at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (which is open for tours) and the Museum of American Finance, which offers an inside look behind the workings of Wall Street.
The New York Stock Exchange itself is, of course, where all the trading happens and where billions of dollars trade hands every day. While you can no longer go inside, just seeing the outside of this massive building is enough to make your trip to New York. The photo opportunities are great here, especially with the humongous American flag draped across the building’s façade.
