See Rome on foot

If you don’t want to do anything fancy and you’re a fan of walking, then the best way for you to see Rome is on foot. There are many ways you can explore Rome on foot, the first way being to just take a walk! You can travel round to different parts of the city using public transport, and when you find your destination, just simply take a walk around and take in the sights, the monuments and amazing architecture that surround you.

There are also many walking tours that you can get involved with. If you want to walk around the city but also find out the history of the things that you see, then expert tour guides will take you and a group around the city, and explain the history and significance of different things that you see.
