See democracy in action at the Houses of Parliament

Posted on 15th March 2012 by

No trip to London is complete without visiting the Houses of Parliament. The central hub of British politics is open to the public, and now you can get guided tours every day throughout the summer. Britons and foreign tourists alike will be able to see precisely how British politics work.

Sat just at the side of the North Bank of the River Thames, this historic Parliament building is also right near other main attractions, making it a convenient and fantastic place to visit when you’re in London. When you’ve enjoyed your tour around Parliament, you’ll be able to visit some of the other great tourist attractions, including Westminster Abbey and Big Ben.

A guided tour of Parliament will show you some of the most beautiful architecture and interiors in Britain, and you’ll even be able to overlook the House of Commons and House of Lords. You can watch politics in action, as the Prime Minister, Members of Parliament and Lords debate and discuss new laws!
