Relax in the Jardin du Luxembourg

Posted on 16th March 2012 by

The Jardin du Luxembourg is yet another French attraction that is known all over the world. The fantastic garden was created by French royals, hundreds of years ago. Over 300 years ago, the beautiful garden was crafted by Marie de Medicis. Medicis was the widow of Henry IV. So not only is this a stunningly beautiful place to visit, but it also marks a historical milestone.

The garden not only has some beautiful flora and fauna, but it’s also hoem to a wide range of monuments and statues, and even large water fountains that are there to mark and celebrate French culture and history.

There are many cafes and restaurants nearby, and on the beautiful summer days in France, you’ll hear many an instrument being played. Some concerts are also played in the garden, too, making it a hub for culture all year round. An incredible place to visit with your family or a loved one, you’ll have an amazing day just taking in the beautiful sights.
