For a romantic stroll, energetic hike or family day-trip, Petrin Hill is Prague’s prime location. At over 1000ft tall, the hill’s peak is the highest point in the entire city, and you can take in panoramic views of the entire region from the 60m look-out tower located at the very heart of the park.
Petrin Hill offers fun for the whole family, with the mirror maze proving to be a particular favourite amongst adults and children alike. After tiring yourself out trying to escape the hall of mirrors, why not re-fuel at the popular Nebozizek Restaurant before taking a walk in the picturesque Vrtba Garden?
The hike to the top of Petrin Hill isn’t for everyone, but there’s no need to panic: the Funicular Railway provides an alternative route for prospective visitors. Trams run from the Ujezd station in Prague’s Lesser Town to the top of the hill from 9am to past 11pm daily.
