Pensione Guerrato, San Polo 240A

Posted on 27th February 2012 by

This little “pensione”, which means something like a small budget hotel or a bed and breakfast, is located in the San Polo neighborhood in a former convent from the 13 th century. It is a great choice, if you are looking for a good budget place to stay in pricey Venice. You can rent a double occupancy room with a shared bathroom for as little as €95 per night. The most expensive room in the top floor has air conditioning, a private bathroom and a great view over the market place, the Canal Grande, and the Ca’ d’Oro. Its nightly rate is just short of €200. The breakfast that is included in the price, is wonderful and makes up for the noise from the market place that might get you out of bed as early as 7 am.
