Paradiso Perduto, Cannaregio 2540

Posted on 28th February 2012 by

In a tourist hub like Venice, it is not easy to find a restaurant that serves a great selection of good pizza and pasta dishes and all that for prizes under €10. You can have this in the Paradiso Perduto. The food alone would justify, the restaurant being packed on a regular basis. Add to this the live jazz that is performed here several times a week and it is hard to find a table, if you are not here very early. This restaurant used to be frequented mainly by Americans and other foreigners who lived in Venice. Its location is a bit hidden, which can make it hard to find for tourists; however, it seems to be catching on even in that crowd. Opening hours are from 7pm to 1am. On some days, it is open until 2am and closed on Wednesdays.
