Learn to use the buses in Rome!

Posted on 17th March 2012 by

The public transport system in Rome is incredibly efficient, and if you want to get around the city quickly without paying extortionate taxi fare, then buses are your best bet. It’s probably one of the most efficient ways of getting around the city. Buses can often be pretty crowded, but they run every 30 minutes (often sooner, however) from all areas in Rome. The most popular destinations, however, see buses arriving every 10 minutes, meaning that you don’t have to wait all that long at all. You will be able to get maps from all over the city, which will help you learn how to use the bus system. You’ll easily be able to plan your route if you use these maps to help you get around the city. Remember also that the Metro closes at 11.30pm, meaning that buses are a great choice if you are planning to get around during the night.
